"I used the spikes again yesterday (successfully). Although I’ve only spiked 2 vehicles since policy was approved in April, we have deployed them behind numerous vehicles and likely prevented more fleeing incidents. I’ve been loving this system and it’s ease of use. It’s so quick to deploy. It has also prevented me from having to use my unmarked to block target vehicles which always ends with my vehicle being dead-lined in a body shop.
